The First Lady is an enchanting and picturesque setting for any Special occasion. Finely detailed and richly furnished with rare antiques and furnishing, you and your guests will feel like Royalty.
Our Maximum capacity is 185 guests for a standing-type Reception or Party. Our Grand Ballroom can accommodate a maximum of 90 guests seated at tables, with an additional 30-40 guests seated at tables on the large,wrap-around, covered porch area. For a Chapel Wedding, our Intimate Wedding Chapel can accommodate up to 112 guest comfortably.
We have two inviting, beautiful guest restrooms, one of which is handicap accessible for our guests with mobility issues. We also have a wheelchair ramp from the back parking lot to the porch area for accessibility and oversize doorways throughout to provide ease of mobility for wheelchairs or scooters.
We have an elegant Bridal Suite located on the second floor of The First Lady for our Bridal Parties to get dressed and ready for this Most Important Day, as well as a room for the groom and his groomsmen to get dressed.
Our wonderful sound system surrounds guests throughout the facility and on the porch area with music. You are encouraged to bring in your favorite selections by way of CD, iPod or MP3 player which can be plugged in to our system. Or, should you prefer, we will be delighted to provide appropriate music for your event.
Convenient parking at The First Lady consists of 48 spaces on our property and additional parking across the street and at the library next door.
